Softball Recap: Uintah Comes Up Short

Uintah managed to slip by Salem Hills the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Utes lost 26-6 to the Skyhawks on Saturday. That makes it the first time this season the Utes have let down their home crowd.

Kynlee Bristol was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI.

Uintah's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2-1. As for Salem Hills, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Looking ahead, Uintah will challenge Wasatch at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Salem Hills, they will venture away from home to face off against South Sevier at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Skyhawks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rams have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season.
