Volleyball Recap: Raymore-Peculiar Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Raymore-Peculiar challenged Lee's Summit on Thursday. The Panthers came up short against the Tigers, falling 3-0. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-13, 25-17.

Raymore-Peculiar's offense was headlined by Lucas Larue and Tre Mackesty, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Brexton Winchel and his eight assists.

Raymore-Peculiar's loss dropped their record down to 2-13-1. As for Lee's Summit, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Raymore-Peculiar has already played their next contest (against Raytown South), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Lee's Summit, they will take on Lee's Summit West at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
