Basketball Game Preview: Sacramento Adventist Capitals vs. Western Sierra Collegiate Academy Wolves

The Sacramento Adventist Capitals will face off against the Western Sierra Collegiate Academy Wolves at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Sacramento Adventist took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They slipped by Buckingham Charter 49-48.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Western Sierra Collegiate Academy). They claimed a resounding 86-36 victory over Valley Christian. Winning may never get old, but the Wolves sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Western Sierra Collegiate Academy's win came from a few key players Sacramento Adventist will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Daniel Vovc, who posted 18 points. Another player making a difference was Max Hisey, who earned 16 points.

Western Sierra Collegiate Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 10-8 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 46.7 points. As for Sacramento Adventist, their win bumped their record up to 9-11.
