Softball Recap: Tustin Tillers vs. Cypress Centurions

Tustin lost a close one when they played last Tuesday but unfortunately for them the loss they were handed on on Thursday was a bit more commanding. They wound up on the wrong side of a rough 19-2 walloping at the hands of the Cypress Centurions. Tustin has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tustin saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Samantha Reyes, who went 2-for-2 with a home run and two RBI.

On Cypress' side, Delaney Faus made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (she also only allowed one walk). Faus has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive pitching appearances. Faus was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with a triple and an RBI.

In other batting news, Cypress let Breana Townsend and Alexis Stamper loose on the outfield.
