Recap: Central Raiders vs. Caldwell Bluejays
The Central Raiders won the last time they faced the Caldwell Bluejays, and things went their way on Monday too. Central escaped with a win against Caldwell by the margin of a single free throw, 40-39. The win made it back-to-back wins for Central.
Several Bluejays players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jackson Risley, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 10 rebounds. Risley scored a full 33.3% of Caldwell's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Mak Blosser, who scored 17 points along with 3 steals.
Central's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Caldwell, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Udall the next time they take the court. Central will host Udall at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Caldwell will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
