Lubbock Christian entered their tilt with Trinity Christian on Saturday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against Trinity Christian. Lubbock Christian has seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Trinity Christian, too.

Lubbock Christian wouldn't go down easily and took Trinity Christian into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-18, 23-25, 25-27, 15-11.

Lubbock Christian's win bumped their record up to 21-3-1. As for Trinity Christian, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 5-9.

Coincidentally, Lubbock Christian and Trinity Christian will both be playing Midland Classical Academy the next time they take the court. Lubbock Christian will host Midland Classical Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Trinity Christian will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
