Softball Recap: Century Takes a Loss

Century fell victim to Hillcrest and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 13-0 to the Knights. The Diamondbacks' loss continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Century's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Hillcrest, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Century will venture away from home to take on Pocatello at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hillcrest, they will head out to challenge Skyline at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Knights' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Grizzlies have averaged an impressive 8.2 runs per game this season.
