Basketball Recap: Bangor Comes Up Short

Bangor lost against Hartford back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bangor Vikings had to suffer through a 69-37 loss at the hands of the Hartford Huskies. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 699th, while the Huskies are ranked 246th).

Bangor is on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11. As for Hartford, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bangor will square off against Decatur at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Bangor is facing Decatur at the right time seeing as Decatur is stuck on a 13-game losing streak. As for Hartford, they will challenge Lawrence at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hartford will also cruise into their next matchup with the timing on their side: Lawrence will have lost four straight heading into Friday's contest.
