Volleyball Recap: Adrian Takes Down Ranked Dexter

Adrian faced Dexter in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Maples walked away with a 2-0 win over the Dreadnaughts. This was a revenge game for the Maples: when they faced off against the Dreadnaughts back in April, they had to take a 2-1 defeat.

Adrian easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-14.

Adrian's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-5-1. As for Dexter, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Adrian will take on rival Lincoln at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Dexter is set to square off against their familiar foe Salem at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
