South Jones came tearing into Tuesday's contest with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 9-8 W against the Pearl River Central Blue Devils. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Braves have posted since March 13th.

Logan Langley looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two hits in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Dylan Causey, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Eyan Butler, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

As for Pearl River Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-9.
