It was a good run, but Edmonds-Woodway unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Monday. They came up short against the Archbishop Murphy Wildcats, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on October 8th.

Edmonds-Woodway's loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Archbishop Murphy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-2-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Edmonds-Woodway will take on rival Lynnwood at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Archbishop Murphy is set to face off against their familiar foe Shorecrest at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
