Soccer Recap: Mount Carmel Comes Up Short

Mount Carmel lost against Lewisburg back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The RED TORNADOES came up short against the Green Dragons, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, Mount Carmel can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 453rd, while Lewisburg are ranked 185th).

Mount Carmel's loss dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Lewisburg, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-9-1.

Coming up, Mount Carmel will head out to challenge Montgomery at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lewisburg, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Mifflinburg on the 13th.
