Volleyball Recap: Sandusky Comes Up Short

Sandusky was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Danbury Lakers. The Blue Streaks were not able to make up for their loss to the Lakers from their previous meeting back in August of 2023.

While Sandusky ultimately came up short, they really made Danbury work, particularly in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-15, 27-25.

Sandusky's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Danbury, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-7.

Sandusky wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Clyde on the 11th. As for Danbury, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Northwood on the 11th.
