Softball Recap: Wayne Trace Raiders vs. Elida Bulldogs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Edgerton, Wayne Trace was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They walked away with a 15-12 win over the Elida Bulldogs. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Raiders considering their two-run performance the game before.

Raegan McGarvey made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up six earned (and six unearned) runs off 11 hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
