Baseball Recap: Hermitage Comes Up Short

Hermitage came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Dadeville Bearcats, falling 17-4. The Hornets have struggled against the Bearcats recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Hermitage's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Dadeville, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Hermitage will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Laquey at 5:00 p.m. on the 24th. As for Dadeville, they will square off against Ash Grove at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
