Softball Recap: Powers Catholic Chargers vs. Roosevelt Bears
Powers Catholic extended their losing streak to five on Saturday, dropping their season record down to 1-6 in the process. They came up short against the Roosevelt Bears, falling 18-0. If the Chargers were looking for revenge after losing 17-6 to the Bears when the teams met back in April of 2016, then they'll just have to keep looking.

For Roosevelt's part, Grace Papler was a major factor no matter where she played. Papler has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
In other batting news, Shaylan Gourlay and Brooklyn Chlipala did most of the damage at the plate: Gourlay went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one double, and one RBI, while Chlipala went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
