Volleyball Game Preview: Middletown Middie Bears vs. Pine Bush Bushmen

Middletown hasn't had much luck against Pine Bush recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Middie Bears will square off against the Bushmen at 4:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Wednesday, Middletown came up short against Kingston and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, Pine Bush also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Newburgh Free Academy by a score of 3-1.

Middletown's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10-1. As for Pine Bush, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 6-5-1.

Middletown couldn't quite get it done against Pine Bush when the teams last played back in September as they fell 3-1. Can the Middie Bears avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
