Soccer Game Preview: Westlake Christian Academy vs. Christian Liberty

The Westlake Christian Academy Eagles will head out on the road to challenge the Christian Liberty Chargers at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Westlake Christian Academy played against Harvest-Westminster on Tuesday and lost via forfeit.

Christian Liberty is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to four goals on Thursday, they were much more limited against Schaumburg Christian on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Conquerors by a score of 2-1. Christian Liberty have struggled against Schaumburg Christian recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Westlake Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Christian Liberty, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Westlake Christian Academy took their win against Christian Liberty in their previous meeting back in September by a conclusive 5-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
