Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Goldsboro). They took their game on Wednesday with ease, bagging an 81-43 win over the C.B. Aycock Golden Falcons. With that victory, the Cougars brought their scoring average up to 54.7 points per game.

Leading Goldsboro to victory were Jabri'On Bynum-Armstrong and Nehemiah McNair. Bynum-Armstrong went 6-for-9 to rack up 12 points along with seven boards and three blocks, while McNair shot 50% from the field en route to 13 points in addition to seven assists and four steals. With that strong performance, McNair is now averaging an impressive 2.2 steals per game. Antonio Hollman was another key player, putting up nine points and six rebounds.

Goldsboro smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive boards in five consecutive matchups.

C.B. Aycock lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Dom Jones, who posted ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Jackson, who scored nine points.

Goldsboro's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for C.B. Aycock, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 4-2.
