With a playoff win on the line, Champlain Valley Union rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Burlington Seahorses. The result was nothing new for Champlain Valley Union, who have now won seven contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Gavin Prada and Lincoln Ricketts scored all three of Champlain Valley Union's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

The win (which was Champlain Valley Union's third in a row) raised their record to 11-5-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those three matchups. As for Burlington, their defeat ended a five-match streak of away wins and brought them to 7-10.
