Baseball Recap: Westbrook Takes a Loss

Westbrook lost against San Angelo HomeSchool back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Westbrook lost 8-1 to San Angelo HomeSchool. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Westbrook saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caul Hoback, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI. Shawn Salazar also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Westbrook now has a losing record of 3-4. As for San Angelo HomeSchool, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-4.

Coming up, Westbrook will challenge O'Donnell at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for San Angelo HomeSchool, they will face off against Ira at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
