Soccer Game Preview: Hume-Fogg vs. Beech

The Hume-Fogg Blue Knights will venture away from home to square off against the Beech Buccaneers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hume-Fogg is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season.

Hume-Fogg is headed into the matchup having not lost since March 27 and will look to keep things rolling. Everything went their way against LEAD Academy on Thursday as they made off with a 5-2 win. Given Hume-Fogg's advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 73rd, while LEAD Academy are ranked 230th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Hume-Fogg's offense was hitting LEAD Academy from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal.

Meanwhile, Beech kept a clean sheet against Hunters Lane last Friday. They put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for Beech.

Hume-Fogg is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those four games. As for Beech, they now have a winning record of 5-4-2.
