Pennsylvania teams make the best of nearly unplayable field.

We usually don't see this type of mess on natural grass fields until later in the season when the wear and tear makes the gridiron vulnerable to the elements.

But over the weekend in southwest Pennsylvania things got nasty as Frazier (Perryopolis) hosted Washington.

See the video above as the two teams slog it out on a field almost totally void of green grass. Footing was challenging – to say the least – between the hashmarks.

Washington won the contest 42-0 but the final score won't be the lasting memory for those participating and watching on from the stands.
