Basketball Recap: Bushland Comes Up Short

Bushland suffered their biggest loss since January 11th on Friday. They lost 56-34 to the Dalhart Wolves. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 336th, while the Wolves are ranked 151st).

Bushland's defeat dropped their record down to 18-14. As for Dalhart, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 24-6.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Bushland will face off against Shallowater at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Shallowater will roll in looking for their 19th straight win, something Bushland surely won't give up without a fight. As for Dalhart, they will take on Littlefield at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. Littlefield will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Dalhart surely won't give up without a fight.
