South County's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the West Springfield Spartans. Winning may never get old, but South County sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

South County's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-2. The road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those four matchups. As for West Springfield, they now have a losing record of 4-5-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South County will take on Lake Braddock at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Lake Braddock will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something South County surely won't give up without a fight. As for West Springfield, they will challenge West Potomac at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
