Volleyball Recap: Ezekiel Academy Falls Short Against Ranked Tuscaloosa Home Educators

Ezekiel Academy faced Tuscaloosa Home Educators in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Knights lost 3-0 to the Warriors. The game marked the first time this year in which the Knights were not able to get on the board.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-21, 25-13.

Presley Baker paced Ezekiel Academy's offense, picking up seven kills. Baker got some help from Jillian Newell and her eight assists. Jacqueline Newell controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Ezekiel Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Tuscaloosa Home Educators, their win was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0.

Ezekiel Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Evangel Christian Academy on the 25th. As for Tuscaloosa Home Educators, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against North River Christian on the 22nd.
