Georgetown Day got themselves on the board against Episcopal on Tuesday, but Episcopal never followed suit. They blew past the Maroon 15-0. Considering the Mighty Hoppers have won six games by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Natalie Ogden looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits.

On the hitting side, Georgetown Day got a massive performance out of Ellie Snyder, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That home run was Snyder's first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Rachel Hellman, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with five RBI, one triple, and one run.

Georgetown Day always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .739. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive contests.

Georgetown Day's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Episcopal, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Georgetown Day will head out on the road to challenge Bullis at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Episcopal, they will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Andrew's Episcopal at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Maroon are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
