Football Recap: Front Range Christian Takes a Loss

If Front Range Christian was feeling good fresh off their 62-8 takedown of Belleview Christian last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Falcons took a blow against the Clear Creek Golddiggers on Saturday, falling 61-14. The Falcons lost against the Golddiggers in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 48-22 score last time.

Despite the loss, Front Range Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Lawson Edwards rushed for 82 yards and a pair of TDs, and also threw for 106 yards and one touchdown. Edwards also punched in two rushing touchdowns, which is notable because the Falcons are 3-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 0-5 otherwise.

Front Range Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Clear Creek, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

As of now, neither Front Range Christian nor the Golddiggers have any future games scheduled.
