Basketball Recap: Parkville Takes a Loss

Parkville lost against Dundalk back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Parkville Knights lost 53-30 to the Dundalk Owls. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dundalk's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jamie Maney, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten steals. Maney is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last five games she's played. Lanaya Valentine was another key player, putting up 14 points along with seven boards and seven steals.

Parkville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Dundalk, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-6.

Parkville will take on Loch Raven at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Dundalk, they will face off against Milford Mill Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
