Basketball Recap: Lamar Now 18-1 over Last 19 Games

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Lamar walked away with it. They blew past the Flippin Bobcats 67-44 on Tuesday. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lamar to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ben Noonan, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and 16 rebounds. Noonan is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last 50 games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Caleb Green, who posted 18 points.

Lamar has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 18 of their last 19 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.9 points over those games. Flippin's loss dropped their record down to 23-8.

Lamar didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 68-44 win against Dumas on the 6th. Flippin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
