Grantsville is 10-0 against Ben Lomond since December of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. Grantsville got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Baylee Lowder out in front who went 10 for 15 en route to 25 points in addition to three steals and three blocks. Avery Allred was another key player, going 8 of 12 on her way to 23 points and eight rebounds.
Grantsville was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as South Summit only racked up nine assists.
Meanwhile, Ben Lomond played a tough game on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 58-21 loss at the hands of Ogden. The Scots were down 44-14 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
They got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of Aleia Huff and Payton Huff, who each put up five points. Aleia also led the team in rebounds with five.
Grantsville's victory bumped their record up to 20-1. As for Ben Lomond, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-17.
This contest is shaping up to be a blowout: Grantsville hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 64.8 points per game. It's a different story for Ben Lomond, though, as they've been averaging only 22.1 points. The only thing between Grantsville and another offensive beatdown is Ben Lomond. Will they be able to keep them contained?
Everything came up roses for Grantsville against Ben Lomond when the teams last played back in January, as the squad secured a 66-17 win. In that contest, Grantsville amassed a halftime lead of 46-10, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
