Fans were treated to a battle of the Wildcats on Tuesday. Winside had just enough and edged out Hartington-Newcastle 2-1.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Winside who won the one that mattered. The final set scores came out to 25-12, 22-25, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Stuart came up short against St. Mary's on Tuesday and fell 2-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-14.

Stuart is now 9-15, having gone 1-2 since their three-game winning streak ended. Winside (11-13) has been on a roll lately: they've now won three of their last four games.
