Recap: Southeast Cyclones vs. Hulett Devils
The Southeast Cyclones entered their tilt with the Hulett Devils with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Southeast blew past Hulett 51-18 at home. That 51-18 margin sets a new team best for Southeast this season.
Ayden Desmond continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 20 points along with seven rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Southeast's points. Another player making a difference was TJ Moats, who scored ten points along with six rebounds.
Southeast's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.3 points per game. As for Hulett, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
Southeast will play host again and welcome Rock River, where tip off is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Rock River comes in still looking for their first win of the season. Hulett will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Sundance at 7:00 p.m. on January 9, 2024.
