Volleyball Recap: Union Grove Find Success

Union Grove's tournament run continued when they took on Cherokee on Saturday. The Wolverines walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Warriors.

Riley Bethea paced Union Grove's offense, picking up eight kills. Bethea got some help from Sadie Peterson and her 15 assists. McKenzie Burrell controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Union Grove's win bumped their record up to 11-2-1. As for Cherokee, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.

Union Grove will challenge Jonesboro on Tuesday. As for Cherokee, they will venture away from home to take on North Cobb at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
