Preview: Biggs Wolverines vs. Plumas Charter Warriors
The Biggs Wolverines will be playing at home against the Plumas Charter Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Biggs is coming into the contest hot, having won their last 12 games.
Biggs can now show off 11 landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. They claimed a resounding 82-54 win over Williams on the road. With Biggs ahead 44-24 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Emilio Vera was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 17 points and ten assists. He hasn't dropped below two steals for seven straight games. Another player making a difference was Skyler Long, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds.
Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Plumas Charter ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They had just enough and edged Paradise Adventist Academy out 78-75. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Biggs has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season. As for Plumas Charter, the win got them back to even at 12-12.
