Football Recap: West Point Takes a Tough Playoff Loss + How To Watch

West Point and Scottsboro squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but West Point had to settle for second. They took a blow against the Wildcats, falling 45-14. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama football rankings (they are ranked 230th, while the Wildcats are ranked 65th).

Although West Point took the loss, they still got scores from Bryant Moon and Mason Wilkins.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Scottsboro to victory, but perhaps none more so than Colton Harding, who threw for 209 yards and three TDs on only 13 passes. Harding's passing game has become a key predictor of the Wildcats' success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 2-4 otherwise. Jacobi Edmonson helped Harding out on the ground, rushing for 76 yards and one touchdown on only eight carries.

West Point now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Scottsboro, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

As of now, neither West Point nor Scottsboro have any future games scheduled.
