Volleyball Recap: Center Hill Takes a Loss

Center Hill lost against Hernando back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Mustangs fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 2-1. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Center Hill started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-18, 15-6.

Hernando can attribute much of their success to Camille Baird, who had 16 digs and two aces.

Center Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Hernando, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-13 record this season.

Center Hill will face off against South Panola at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hernando, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Lake Cormorant on the 27th.
