Volleyball Recap: Greenwood Woodmen vs. Triton Central Tigers
After flying high against Mooresville on Tuesday, Greenwood came back down to earth. The Woodmen fell just short of the Triton Central Tigers by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. While the Woodmen didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Tigers 25-14 in the first set.
Greenwood started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 14-25, 30-32, 25-19, 25-22, 15-8.
Their offense was headlined by Victoria Ortman and Maddison Judge, who picked up 15 kills apiece. They got some help from Adrianna Rosebrock and her 35 assists. Judge was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.
