Soccer Recap: Taft Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Taft can now relate to. They fell just short of the Coalinga Horned Toads by a score of 3-2 on Friday. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Wildcats couldn't quite close it out.

Taft's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Coalinga, the victory got them back to even at 12-12.

Taft does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Coalinga, they will host Strathmore at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Coalinga's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
