Basketball Recap: Grant Takes a Loss

Grant was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Edmond Memorial Bulldogs and fell 81-19. While losing is never fun, the Generals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 299th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 31st).

Grant's defeat dropped their record down to 1-21. As for Edmond Memorial, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-9.

Looking ahead, Grant will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Norman North at 7:30 p.m. Norman North will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Grant surely won't give up without a fight. As for Edmond Memorial, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 73-39 victory against Yukon on the 15th.
