Volleyball Recap: Raymore-Peculiar Falls Short Against Ranked Belton

Raymore-Peculiar faced Belton in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. Raymore-Peculiar came up short against Belton, falling 3-0. The Panthers' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

While Raymore-Peculiar was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-23, 25-15.

Despite the loss, Raymore-Peculiar saw an underclassman step up: freshman Joshua Lewis had 18 digs.

Raymore-Peculiar's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4-1. As for Belton, the win got them back to even at 2-2-1.
