It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Metea Valley had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They strolled past the Plainfield North Tigers with points to spare, taking the game 74-56. This was payback for the Mustangs, who suffered a 56-54 loss the last time these two teams met.

The victory made it two in a row for Metea Valley and bumps their season record up to 20-12. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 80.5 points over those games. As for Plainfield North, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-13 record this season.
