The Central Dragons will venture away from home to face off against the Hollidaysburg Golden Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Central is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.4 runs per game this season.

Central is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Altoona just ended the team's seven-game winning streak on Saturday. They lost 20-12 to the Mountain Lions. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Dragons have suffered since March 18th.

Wyatt Dilling made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 4-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Jay Hoenstine, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Hollidaysburg's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 5-2 to Altoona.

Hollidaysburg's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-2.

Central came out on top in a nail-biter against Hollidaysburg in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, sneaking past 11-10. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Dragons since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
