Basketball Recap: Coahulla Creek Takes a Loss

If Coahulla Creek was riding high fresh off their 62-19 takedown of North Murray on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Coahulla Creek Colts fell 43-33 to the Pickens Dragons on Saturday. The matchup marked the Colts' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Coahulla Creek dropped their record down to 9-5 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Pickens, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Coahulla Creek will take on Ringgold at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pickens, they will venture away from home to take on Johnson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pickens is facing Johnson at the right time seeing as Johnson is stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
