Volleyball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Tennessee

Tennessee entered their tilt with Elizabethton on Monday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Fighting Cyclones. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Vikings also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Tennessee was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-13, 23-25, 25-18.

Faith Hayes paced Tennessee's offense, picking up 14 kills. Hayes got some help from Bree Adams and her 21 assists. Adams also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Ashton Blair, racking up two apiece.

Tennessee's win bumped their record up to 16-6. As for Elizabethton, they moved to 12-8 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tennessee will square off against David Crockett at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Elizabethton, they will challenge Sullivan East at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
