Recap: Living Grace Christian N/A vs. Mount Airy Christian Academy
On Thursday, Living Grace Christian was the victim of a tough 74-53 loss at the hands of Mount Airy Christian Academy.
It was another big night for Joey Stanton, who shot 4-for-8 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double on 37 points and ten rebounds for Mount Airy Christian Academy. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Stanton has scored all season. Brady Shinabery was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with three steals.
Living Grace Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Mount Airy Christian Academy, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 11-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Living Grace Christian will take on Carroll Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mount Airy Christian Academy, Mount Airy Christian Academy and Perry Hall Christian will face off at 5:00 p.m. on January 23rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Perry Hall Christian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Maryland Rankings (they are ranked 168th, while Mount Airy Christian Academy is ranked 47th).
