Softball Recap: Wheeling Park Patriots vs. Brooke Bruins

Wheeling Park's game last Saturday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They put the hurt on the Brooke Bruins with a sharp 13-5 victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Wheeling Park considering their one-run performance the game before.

Delaney Randolph made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. Randolph has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in three consecutive pitching appearances.
