Whiteland is 9-1 against Indian Creek since February of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Whiteland Warriors will face off against the Indian Creek Braves at 7:30 p.m. Whiteland has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.

Last Saturday, Whiteland was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 65-64 to Columbus North. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (62), the Warriors still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, Indian Creek played a tough contest on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 97-49 loss at the hands of New Palestine. While losing is never fun, the Braves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 191st, while the Dragons are ranked seventh).

Indian Creek has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season. As for Whiteland, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-10.

Whiteland didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Indian Creek in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 58-53 win. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Indian Creek's Adam Crouch, who posted 31 points in addition to seven rebounds and four steals.
