Soccer Game Preview: Phoebus vs. Indian River

The Phoebus Phantoms will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on the Indian River Braves at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Phoebus will be strutting in after a victory while Indian River will be coming in after a defeat.

Phoebus is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Denbigh. Phoebus beat Denbigh by a goal, winning 2-1.

Meanwhile, Indian River came up short against Salem on Tuesday, falling 7-2. The Braves were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-1.

Noah Martinez and Noah Warren scored both of Indian River's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.
