Simley is a perfect 3-0 against St. Paul Central since December of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Simley Spartans will host the St. Paul Central Minutemen at 7:00 p.m. Simley is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.

Last Tuesday, Simley came up short against South St. Paul and fell 44-37.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, St. Paul Central beat Minneapolis South 38-33 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Minutemen.

Simley better keep an eye on Mireya Jefferson. She was instrumental in St. Paul Central's win, putting up 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cynara Easley, who posted eight points.

St. Paul Central's victory bumped their record up to 10-15. As for Simley, their loss dropped their record down to 5-17.

Everything came up roses for Simley against St. Paul Central in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, as the team secured a 67-6 win. Will Simley repeat their success, or does St. Paul Central have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
